We had a very fun 4th of July gathering at our house. Dan and Emily and their kids along with Jeff and Trisha and their family came for burgers (t'would be a sin if I didn't mention the delectable Thai burger prepared by Dan...out of this world). At dusk, Todd and Daisy's family and Trisha's parents joined us for a spectacular firework display by the kids. They even put on a finale which consisted of about 8 children each in charge of igniting their own firework all exploding at the same time. I saw something similar at the Stadium of Fire once. Besides the incessant mosquitos, the night was wonderful and the kids enjoyed themselves.
